A flush stone setting

Well I had a go and I mastered the hand drilling. The part I didn’t do so well was the securing of the stone. It basically looks like I’ve hammered it in with all my might!!! Not quite the polished look I was after. I think its because I used a curved burnisher rather than a straight pointed one. I’ve ordered one so I’m going to have another go when it arrives.
